You know you’re in the suburbs when…

You know you’re in the suburbs when…

10. You have to drive everywhere
9. Everyone knows each other at the local movie theater (Yes, this really happened)
8. Movies cost $7.00 for a Monday night special
7. You wake up to chirping birds instead of honking horns
6. You have two choices for eating out: Applebees or TGIF
5. Everyone else isn’t wearing black
4. You see trees out your window, and everywhere else
3. Mom makes you dinner
2. No food trucks or carts 😦
1. You can twirl around inside a living room without hitting a wall

It’s nice to get away for a few days… but I just can’t quit you, New York! Be home soon!
